Accessibility

Built for every brain and body.

Accessibility isn't a feature we bolted on — it shaped Beatrx from the first line of code. The app is designed to work with Apple's built-in assistive technologies on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, so practice is open to everyone. This statement reflects the current release; if anything here falls short for you, please tell us and we'll fix it.

Supported accessibility features

VoiceOver

Every control, stat, and live readout is labelled for the screen reader, so the whole app can be used without sight.

Voice Control

Because controls are clearly named, you can drive Beatrx hands-free — "Tap Begin Session," "Tap Increase tempo."

Larger Text

Full Dynamic Type support: every label and number scales with your text-size setting, right up to the accessibility sizes.

Dark Interface

A calm dark stage, a warm light look, or follow your device — the whole palette adapts automatically.

Differentiate Without Colour

Feedback never relies on colour alone. Every tap is also named in words — "Locked," "Solid," "Drifting" — and by position.

Sufficient Contrast

Text and accents are tuned to meet contrast guidance in both light and dark, and respect Increase Contrast.

Reduced Motion

Turn on Reduce Motion and the pulsing, breathing, and transitions calm down — nothing flashes, shakes, or surprises.

Large Touch Targets

Every button is comfortably sized (44pt or more) for small hands, tremors, and motor differences.

Feel, Hear, and See the Beat

Beats arrive through sound, light, and haptics — practice through whichever sense works for you, even in Silent mode.

Across your devices

These features are available on iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 or later), with a roomy two-column training layout on iPad, and a wrist-friendly Apple Watch companion for starting a haptic session hands-free.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to Apple's accessibility guidance and the principles of WCAG 2.1 AA. Accessibility is never "done" — we test with VoiceOver and large text on every release and welcome your feedback. Email info@sneinteractive.com with the subject "Beatrx accessibility" and we'll respond within two business days.
