Privacy Policy

Beatrx is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your information.
The short version
Beatrx does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
What data the app stores
When you complete a practice session, the app saves a record on your device only, in the app's private storage. A record may include:
- Session settings (tempo, meter, sound, mode, length)
- Timing results (average deviation, accuracy, streaks, tap counts)
- Date and time of the session
- Any optional tags or notes you choose to add
- A short coaching note generated on your device
This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
No collection, no tracking
- The app makes no network requests and contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.
- The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across apps or websites.
- There are no user accounts and no sign-in.
On-device intelligence
The short coaching notes shown after a session and in History are generated entirely on your device. On supported hardware they use Apple Intelligence (Apple's on-device foundation models); on other devices a built-in summary does the same job. Your session data is not sent to any server or third-party AI service to produce these notes.
Microphone, health, and location
Beatrx does not access the microphone, HealthKit, Motion & Fitness, your location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data source.
Children
Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children. We do not knowingly gather information from children, consistent with COPPA and the GDPR.
Your control over your data
Your data lives only on your device. You can delete an individual session from its detail screen, or remove everything at once from About → "Clear all history." Deleting the app removes all stored sessions.
This website
This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Your theme preference (light or dark), if you choose one, is stored only in your own browser. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may see your browser's standard request information; no other third-party resources are used.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
